How do I run Deep research?
Open a recording, click Regenerate, and check Deep research. The summary panel shows the research as it happens, and the researched summary replaces the previous one after one to three minutes. The recording owner can run it.
How many credits does it use?
Deep research is billed on actual usage, like any summary: every research step and web search counts. Expect about five times the credits of a standard summary. The Regenerate dialog shows this estimate before you start.
Which AI models support it?
Deep research uses the AI model's own web search, available with the OpenAI and Claude models. When the selected model has no web search, the option is disabled; Goelo never switches models on its own.
What leaves Goelo during the research?
The names of the people and companies being researched go to the web search of the AI provider that already processes your transcript. No new provider is involved. The research steps and sources are stored with the summary and deleted with it.
Which past meetings can it read?
Only recordings in the same workspace that the recording owner can already access, matched by attendee email or company domain. Every fact taken from a past meeting is cited, so you can check it before sharing the summary.
